Answers you can check
Answers are grounded in your documents: numbered citations open the exact source passage they drew on, so you can check them. When Clarilytic is less confident about something it pulled out, the item is flagged for human review. You can also open a step-by-step trace of how any document was processed.
Your data, kept apart
Your documents and findings live in storage separated from every other customer's, encrypted in transit and at rest, with role-based access and a full audit log. Deleted means deleted — trash, then gone on request.

Honesty over polish: handwriting and poor-quality scans can defeat it — readable text matters. It won't give legal or financial advice; it shows you what your documents say. And it can't answer from documents you haven't given it — it draws only on your files and cites the passages it used.
A note from the founder
I built Clarilytic after 20+ years of building solutions for businesses across nearly every industry. The same problem kept surfacing: the answer existed, somebody had paid for it to be written down, and still nobody could find it when it mattered.
I didn't want another tool that sounds confident. I wanted one that shows its work — every answer pinned to the page it came from, so you can defend it in a meeting you didn't have time to prepare for.
We're a small team and an early product. You'll get fast answers from the people who wrote the code, and a product that improves every week. If something's missing, tell me personally.

How do I know the answers aren't made up?
Answers are grounded in your documents, with numbered citations that open the exact source passage they used — so you can check a claim against where it came from. The assistant draws only on the files you've given it, and uncertain extractions are flagged for human review.
Is our data used to train anything?
No. Your documents are used to answer your questions, nothing else. They're stored separately from every other customer's and deleted when you ask. Details: our trust page.
Are you certified — SOC 2, ISO?
Not yet; we're an early-stage company and we won't pretend otherwise. What we do have: separated per-customer storage, encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access, sign-in through an enterprise-grade identity provider, and audit logging. The trust page describes each, in plain language, so your security team can evaluate the substance.
What file types does it handle?
PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CSV, text and web pages, full email archives, and zip bundles. Scans and photos work when the text in them is readable. Specialist formats too — Wi-Fi survey files and project schedules. Files up to 2 GB on paid plans, and you can import straight from your existing cloud storage.
How long until it's useful?
Minutes, not a rollout. Upload a folder, pick one of fifteen ready-made setups (or the generic one), and ask your first question. No engineering work on your side.
What happens if we leave?
Your reports download as Word or PDF anytime. Cancel monthly; on request we fully delete your documents and derived data.
